The intent was to inform of the program's benefits and to promote value in order to receive future funding. My solution looks scholarly but inviting. Since the intended audience was board members determining the program's funding, it needed to feel very professional, without getting rid of the bright aspect of it being about the kids. The brochure resulted in the school disctrict getting a grant of $900,000 a year for after school programs. The outside is a custom fabricated folder with Nuba Silk material lining, silkscreened typography, and a tipped in laminated photo to create a juxtaposition of textures and printing methods.
